ABSTRACT: Artificial Intelligence must undergo intense scrutiny when being considered for use throughout the aerospace sector, as transportation safety and efficiency depend upon it. Recent work has been aimed at going beyond Wave 2 ideas of model confidence, fundamentally re-evaluating the concept of certainty as it applies to aerospace applications. Now, it’s time to see how we take it a step further.
